Ethylene oxide (EtO) Sterilisation
EtO treatment is a widely practiced method of sterilisation; is a low temperature process (~45°C) which is ideal for heat labile products and eliminates/reduces the level of microbiological contaminants.
The main parameters that need to be monitored during the process are the temperature, humidity, gas concentration and exposure time. With years of experience, RED CROSS SURGICALS has developed and validated several customised process parameters.
Being a cold process, ETO sterilisation has no impact on physical characteristics of most products. The ETO process offers flexibility of choice, packaging; which includes most polymer films, medical grade paper and combinations thereof.
